how did you find out about path of exile

I heard about it a year back through a video by Total Biscuit (it was in my suggested videos, and I was bored), but, of course, I couldn't get in to the beta at the time. Fast forward to the present day, and I downloaded the Starter Edition for Diablo 3. While I actually really enjoyed Diablo 3, I unfortunately had a bug that caused the game to "stutter" (the blame lays completely on Blizzard and faulty coding). Naturally, it was unplayable. So I was looking for an alternative to Diablo 3, at least until the bug was fixed — it looks like it'll never be fixed, since it has been around since the beta, and Blizzard said it was fixed for release... then they said it was fixed in 1.0.3, then they said it was fixed in 1.0.4, now they're saying it'll be fixed in an upcoming patch —, that's how I found Path of Exile.

So far, I've gotten a Templar to Act 2, and have been doing co-op with a friend as a Witch (he's a Marauder), that we also just got to Act 2 as well. I'm really enjoying the game, and surprised with how good it really is. It does lack that fine-tuned polish, but that's irrelevant.

There are, of course, some few things I wish the game had, primarily being hovering health bars above enemies. I also hope there the options to change chats through typing will be changed to less archaic ways, because being able to type "/p" for party chat, or "/w" or "/g" for global/world chat would be much better. Still, I'm happy.

I found out about the game from an article that discussed various upcoming action rpgs at gamespy.com.

Watching some video on YT related do diablo 3 'Top 10 upcoming H&S games'. Diablo 3 fail going to massively incrase number of potential PoE players. So it's pretty profitably that diablo came out first. Of course if PoE doesn't fail.

And if notch loves a game i sure do. So i came he and found out it was diablo2 with better graphics (F*** Diablo 3)

I found out about this game on the Diablo 3 official forum. Lots of folks said D3 sucks -- PoE is awesome. so i checked PoE out.
