General Mood - Where the supporters surrender

I respect your right to voice your opinion, but I disagree. Expectations vary from player to player. In some areas, GGG has exceeded what I thought or hoped they would do. People who have unrealistic expectations will spend a good portion of their lives wondering why the world treats them so unfairly.

I am looking forward to the next update and the ones after that. The game isn't perfect, but it is very good and a lot of fun. GGG's continual efforts to improve the game have earned my continuing support. I am really looking forward to the day they announce an approximate date for act 4.

I completely agree.

I wear my tags proudly, and though i think this game is spectacularly broken in many ways, it is still the best game in town for me, and has been for almost 2 years now.
Wait, what's wrong with the way the game is right now? What are we supposedly surrendering to?

We're content to accept a game that's way too hard for most players solely because we can't get 100% of the gear we want when we want it, and have plenty of extras for alts or to sell.
Look, man. Video games are hard, okay?

OP is likely on the "buff drop rates" train that could never be stopped until every character is guaranteed the best gear in the game by level 80 and we're all sitting around wondering what to do. These guys don't think about the long term though, unfortunately.

But this thread should be a good indication that the people complaining truly are a vocal minority. Only a total masochist would make a full time job out of arguing with toddlers. But when you start associating your opinion with the general population, they may have a gripe with it.

I'm not a supporter of GGG I'm a customer. The relationship between me and GGG is I give them money and they give me a game. I don't care about GGG and they only care about my wallet. That's the basis of any business. Anything else is charity and I don't consider keeping programmers in a job is a particular important charity
We've just come off "winter break". There's work to be done, but the last month wasn't the time to do it.
the funny thing i find is that the majority of the thread people consider as "buff drop rates" threads ... aren't actually buff drop rates threads .

maybe people just got tired of the community misunderstanding them and overacting with the zeal of a religious jihadist?

don't know about you but that kind of toxic bile would make people even with the best of intentions leave this game hating everything ggg and this community stands for .

especially lately where the forums have become this polarized battle ground , where the line is drawn between people who want change , and people who will stop at nothing to keep the game exactly how it is , massive flaws and all.

it is sometimes worth it just to take a step back and marvel at the glorious clusterfuck that it is .

The very small minority thats unhappy with a free to play game from a small dev studio congregates in general discussion to complain, thats about it. Me and my entire guild enjoy and support this game on a daily basis, someone who consistently tries to bend a game to fit his personal taste just bothers me.
