Because "so many" people would complain about the change. Complaining isn't a compelling reason to make any change in any game. There's always going to be complaining. The ONLY compelling reason for a developer to make a change to their game is "Will it make us a better game?"

They need to add a drop filter which also allows us to change colors/transparency of each type of drop. That would make their game better and even score them a point on "innovative".

There's an easy answer to this; yes it would make a better game.
An option to change colors would ofcourse be even better, but not necessary.

But just a simple change to the currency color would make it easier to focus on fights imo. It would really improve the speed of the overall gameplay for me.

true, a little darker tag for the currency drops would completely destroy the overall ambiance

You get wishy washy answers because although it is technically against the rules they have better stuff to do then monitor it. Like the police not giving you a ticket until you are over 5 mph the limit, unless they just don't like you anyway they will let you slide.

Besides a google search would show anybody how to do it if they really wanted to. I used it a while back but sometimes when they patch it needs to be done again so I haven't bothered with it anymore since.

It doesn't make sense why we haven't seen a better loot filtering system implemented yet into the game.

I love this game, 100% the best game I have ever played. :) so no bashing, but I think this change needs to be added or at least remove half the junk items that fill the screen. At the moment gameplay is slowed down allot because you have to spend half the time looking through screen fills of white items encase you miss something of value..

Ps, also doesn't help when allot of colours look grey to mee.. :P

but we dont need weather effects in the menu.

if i start poe on my macbook, the fan suddenly ramps up to maxspeed and noise. very annoying.
do we have rain ingame? honestly, i dont know because i dont care. but this rain in the menu plain sucks and does no good imo.

an arpg should create its atmo by its LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT :-)

how do you get the sockets to display as little squares on the ground? Guess I need to play with the graphics/UI Options, as I have them display bigger with links etc (like they do in inventory) - which adds to my slowarse screen eyeballing time haha
