Huge lag after 0.10.0 patch.
" I think this is the case as well, it makes sense. |

I have done more testing on this issue, it seems that it's not even certain instances. This issue only occurs sometimes, even in the same instance.
I have tried just walking in and out of the instance (NOT resetting). First entry: (Good Latency)

NOTE: This is all within the SAME instance and zone. All I have done is to simply to walk in, check if the latency is good in the instance. If the latency is bad, walk out of the instance and just enter the same instance again, and repeat until the latency is good. |

Having the same problem as everyone else in this thread I had my own thread that Thomas replied to here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/67354
I had some success using connecting to VPN before playing but I have since run into problems with that. Hope we get some good news soon about this it's such a pain :( |

This is a huge problem, GGG has donators who can't even play, they need to fix this ASAP!

This is a realy big problem. Horrable latency value make this game almost not playable sometime.
Sorry for my English :)

Yes i have this problem too. There is some testing i've done aswell:
1. First of all, all players (regardless of what realm they pick) are playing in one big pool, they all can interact with each other. An US-player on US-realm can play with an Europe-player on Europe-realm. This is not like blizzard/battle.net where europe cant interact with US and the opposite. 2. So a europe player can accidently play on a US-server. On europe-servers i get 30-40 minimum ping + spikes. But on US-servers (or whatever realm thats not europe) gives me a minimum of 140-150 ping + spikes. On some instances i have minimum 300 + spikes. 3. The person who creates an instance, the first guy in, will have his realm-server. So if i am first to create an instance, people will play on my realm, regardless of where they come from. This is why you sometimes get bad ping. 4. My theory is that GGG thought: in order to prevent people getting kicked out because of servers getting full, they simply unify all the realms in order to fill out all servers during peak time. During europe peak time, they can now also use US-servers, less people get kicked out. The same goes for US, they can now use europe-servers during their peak time. 5. How do i know this? Because i ask people where they come from. They say US. Okay. Everytime i am the one creating the instance its 30 ping or if anyone else from europe creates -> 30 ping. Everytime the US-guy creates im at 150+. If the ping is 150+ i take my portal back to base, well 30 ping again. Going back to US-instance wow 150 ping. I can repeat this process 100 times, same results. 6. But this does not explain why the hell its unplayable during peak time. because even if i'd play with 150 ping, it'd be playable. during peak time i get an intervall between 30-2000 ping. and sometime it spike for like 10-15 seconds (only my character can move, everything stands still...) Whats interesting is that this happened to me when playing D3 too. But BF3, Dota 2 and all other games are completely fine during peak time..
