Huge lag after 0.10.0 patch.

Also in the same boat.

Act 1 was fine but act 2 and 3 have been pretty brutal.

Maybe its just now there are so many more players in the game -- not sure.

If it's just that then I'm not worried, more/better servers can clear it up. If it's something beyond that, I can't see how I can keep playing :'(

The problem still persists. After playing through half of act 1 without any lag, as soon as I restarted the client the problem returned and the latency became unstable in some zones again.

Which makes me believe the problem is in the client.
UPDATE: I seem to have found the cause of the problem, it seems to be the instances. Some instances have severe latency issue, while some instances just created a minute later have NO latency issues at all.

What I have done is test different instances of the same zone.

I have taken a screenshot of the latency, then gone back to town to create a new instance of the zone and repeat.

The results are reproducible for me!

Can someone else experiencing the problem do this test and confirm if this is the case?

My friend got the same problem and we've come to the same result, sometimes it lags, sometimes it doesn't. It's just a big gamble when we change zones
I've done the same test again on a different zone, here are the results:

5 different instances:

Instance number 1, 2, 5 have stable latency.
Instance number 3, 4 have very unstable latency.

I had this problem on my laptop. Huuge lagspikes every now and then and it felt little clunky, so I put minimum graphics, didn't work so I reduced my resolution to 1280x768 and problem resolved.

My laptop has

4gb ram
Intel i7 m640 @ 2.8GHz
AMD Radeon 6530M

Rubberbanding dropped from every minute to once/twice per hour, which is weird, dunno how its connected with resolution but you guys can enlighten me :)

So if I get severe lag spikes, I should just cntrl+click (reset) the area until it runs smooth?

Yes, that has been working as a temporary fix for me so far. It may take a few resets, so keep trying until you enter an instance that has a low latency.

I have been in contact with support with my information, and they are looking into it.

I hope this will be resolved soon!
This sounds like one of their servers has some faulty hardware, faulty connections, or those affected servers have REALLY high CPU load. I imagine they have many, many servers tasked with running something like 128 instances per server (just throwing a number out there), and the laggy instances are only coming from the bad servers.

Anyway, it sounds like it's on their end. Hopefully they catch wind of this thread. Until then, CTRL+Click until you get a lag free instance :/
