People dont became super-rich "of sudden" (unless they use RMT), and if their riches are legit, they care about keeping themselves rich, and wont just waste currency left and right. And what crafters do, when they get not perfect stats, or stats they actually dont want, but still useful? They can try to sell an item for solid price to fund further crafting. And ordinary players are able to buy those.

And you CAN craft endgame items even if you dont have 1000+ exalteds worth of currency. However, if you get hit by bad RNG, you will be left with nothing (but in contary, if you get hit by good RNG, you'll make a fortune).

Why do we see so many 6-L items in game, almost all of them of best base types (Vaal Regalia, etc)? No, they dont drop so often, people CRAFT those 6-links via fusings/scraps/whetstones. Then they craft proper mods with Alteration/Augmentation orbs. For Vaal Regalia, this would probably be max %increased ES, or max flat +ES, along with other useful mod like resist. Then, they use Regal Orb and if another high ES procs, you will already have a great 700+ ES 6-L item. If you are an experienced crafter, and arent cursed by bad RNG, you can make a fortune crafting those, for example.

Getting even more powerful item may include using eternal orbs to save item at certain stage. This requires more investments, of course, but it creates really BiS items.

I actually find your arguments are pointless. You say the rich people are rich because they are rich, and because they are rich, they will own everything in game. But what all those riches come from? Usually, they come from ordinary players funding them, instead buying CONSISTENT crafted items. Both sides are satisfied. That's how GOOD economy works here.
Crafting isnt alternative to good drops? NAH, when it comes to endgame rares, drops are actually just an alternative to crafting.

And this knife wont be another Shavrone. Shavrone is valued ONLY because of its unique property "chaos damage does not bypass energy shield". Remove that, and Shavrone will turn to vendor unique, like Infernal Mantle.

This knife's unique property isnt the main reason to get it. It's just a sweet bonus, no more (especially for endgame player). It is valued mostly because it have great DPS and crit chance, but those can appear on rares as well. It is completely different from Shavrone.

If you really need comparison, compare it to Marohi Erqi, or Kaom's Primacy.

It wouldn't really be right, both of those have no special properties, just high damage, and this knife is purposefully geared towards DoT builds. Ok, marohi has great mods for a cyclone build but it most likely wasn't on purpose.

What people have been saying is it should have been made on a slower dagger that has comparable damage per hit, as attack speed isn't really critical for such builds and it would have made it cheaper. It could have been a golden kris, for instance. It would have been nice, but I guess the supporter that made it specifically asked for a slaughter knife to fit the theme.

We probably need more uniques like this, useable in endgame and not as good as top class rares, but geared for a certain build type and able to perform better than those rares in that specific role.

hi. just to confirm, by "regenerate life" it means that it wouldnt work on energy shield if i dont have zealot's oath right?

this dagger is fucking amazing end game, I can stand in darkforest maps with zombies in the chaos cloud and live, also this dagger is gfg for pvp, a bino's/death oath build stacking degen = god mode
