The Hobbit 2 - The decapitations and Smaug

Watched it in 3D, not a Big fan at all of the computer animated graphics they did om some of the characters, legolas for example , and i hated the " love scene " between kili and the elven whatever her name is, it just helt so forced and unfitting.

Looking at the way certain places are described in the books they really slaughtered some things, like dol guldur Being a utter ruin and a spell is hiding All the orcs ...

I thought the scene in the nazgul grave was badass though, so was the scene with sauron. Its really interesting to see things depicted in reality that you only had seen before in your imagination .

Im a huge fantasy and tolkien fan so anything concerning middle earth gives me an instant boner so i still loved the film. But again i dont like Where tve movie industry is going with all these flashy effects, sometimes less is just more . Definitely recommend the film to everyone though

legolas played no part in the book by tolkien called "the hobbit"

most of the movies are invented from "b-sides" tolkien work that
he was never able to find a place for... YES it was inspired by unpublished
work.

but everyone loves legolas so you sure has hell better find a place for him...

Tom Bombadil on the other hand? who cares :)

yea I'mma go watch all of the hobbit series, likely better than anything
else hollywood is capable of producing now a days.
