Battlefield Earth is so Hard to watch, it at the production level of one of those Adult Movies where they try to incorporate a story... except in Battlefield Earth they censored out all the good bits.
And yeah, Dune is.. well Dune is Dune. The games do a better job than the Movies. Speaking of Dragonlance, there is an Animated film. I think its the First book, it's terrible. So terrible. Much like every D&D movie. Here it is! You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches. Dune the mov.... I can't bring myself to say it. Loved the book.
Battlefield Earth was mediocre at best. (Never saw the movie) Best book, worst movie for me was the hunt for red October. |

I used to have a great Dune board game. My mates and I used to play it semi regularly. Those were the days before we had computers. Board games like Diplomacy, Shogun, Axis & Allies. I even played Mechwarrior on a hexagon grid with 20 sided dice, half the fun was designing new mechs.

We would play Axis and Allies three or days in row. Only pausing to hit the bars.

I always wished I had played D&D Tabletop when I was growing up. :(
I envy you lucky ones that got to do those cool things. The only Board games we played were: The Game of Life, Hotel, and Monopoly. You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world,

" even tho im not a huge fan of LOTR, ive enjoyed the movies. both lotr and the hobbit. and ive read the book of the hobbit. Anyway to the point. as i see it, they couldnt just fly over there into the mountain because Sauron would notice them for sure. and probably send the Nazgul to intercept them. Altho the Eagles could have atleast taken Frodo and Sam closby. The whole point of everyone attacking Mordor was to distract Sauron so frodo could sneak into the mountains wasnt it? (quite a while sinse ive seen LOTR) | |
