So, I joke and stuff about certain things, and I very rarely ever care about anyone's beliefs...because...well that's why people have opinions and opinions are great things.
However, I'd like to state that My Little Pony became popular because of Furries - and the likes of 4chan/etc drawing up pornography based around children's cartoons and...well furry animals. Not to state that all the "bronies" that like My Little Pony are into weird sexual fantasies and such, but I figured that this little portion of history should of been stated...as again, bronies evolved from furry porn. The only reason I comment with this is in-case the OP was unaware of such. I watch my fair share of cartoons - Aqua Teen Hunger Force, South Park, etc. Some people don't get it, some people do. It would be rather hard of me to note though that a show I enjoyed, and calling myself a "brony" as such, was originally coined from people who had sexual fantasies about cartoon animals. If you know what I mean :P But I can see what you mean.. I actually didn't know that... I was told differently, I knew it all started on 4chan so I'm not too suprised lol, I hear lots of bad things come from there. I remember hearing from someone that furries weren't the perverted ones it was "furverts" but that's just something I heard, I may be wrong... I don't even completely know what a furry is... I don't really care to know lol... Sounds like something I don't want to be involved with... |

I don't think it has anything to do with what you're talking about... and if thats where the term originally came from, then that is long gone right now, and I can see why someone would hesitate to label themselves as a 'brony'. And I do thank you for bringing that to light, but when I call myself a brony, I mean a fan of MLP and that is all... again thanks for informing me of that, it is nice to know Now this thread has kinda led off topic, and nobody really has posted anything claiming to like both PoE and MLP... I'll give it a bit more time but I don't see myself finding anyone with those similar interests, at least here on these forums... I did find a few bronies in the chat log of the game unintentionally, they recognized my character's name, lol :P |

I see a world of difference between a Brony and a Furry, because, yes, Furry is implicitly a fetish unrelated to a particular franchise or fanbase. Brony is no more fetishised to me than Whovian, Trekkie or Whedonite/Browncoat.
Fascinating as that may be, I'll be watching this thread to make sure it doesn't turn into what it shouldn't be. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
