" Hmm strange, is your fire res capped? I see you have a +2 to fire wand and lvl16 pof, which brings pof lvl18, +3 to maximum fire res * 1.52 = 4.56 which gets rounded down to +4. If you get pof to lvl 20 it gives +4 to maximum fire res * 1,52 = +6. as you can see it's a 2% difference and most probably why you're taking damage without seeing the tree. I suggest to respec out of inner force last 2 points until you get pof to lvl20, this will lower the damage taken from RF. Important if you get +3 to maximum fire res from pof you need 34% aura boost to get it to +4% to maximum res. You can get this with the aura nodes, holy strength and the first point from inner force. In addition you can take the endurance charges passive to help with life regeneration GL! My guides

Just got the last piece needed for 15c, quite a good price
Now it's time for some serious gear shopping :) Now here is something interesting and that is main weapon. Let's assume RF can be sustained without any +level from weapon and RF is an imprint of the cast moment, meaning any modifiers from main weapon don't apply to it (haven't tested this yet). The interesting thing is what would be the best main hand weapon for this build? There are some interesting uniques, birghtbeak and aurumvorax for resistances, supreme truth for +5% xp gain, etc..or maybe a rare weapon with strentgh and resists? My guides

so i took one of the inner force nodes and i'm only losing like 1 hp a sec which is manageable time for the long grind to lvl 18 pof '-' thanks for the help

Lol this build reminds me of the good old D2 Auradin days. I got myself a low iLvl Searing Touch to level with as a Fire Trapper. Hopefully I would be to level as a trapper and run around killing things when I'm level 65 :D

" D2 happy times :) As far as leveling as a trapper I guess it is possible but not optimal as you won't take any trap nodes on your way to level65, but who knows maybe the searing touch boosts you fire trap enough. Bad thing is traps (except lightning trap) are dexterity based and this build has none :P Let us know how leveling with traps go, GL! My guides
