let's recommend new music to each other.
"listen again. there is no need to be the vltra-cvlt-trve-no-keyboards kinda guy. i also hate metal bands that overuses keyboards (read shit power metal and shit "black" metal). however when used correctly keyboards can add alot to the atmosphere hell even emperor used keyboards on in the nightside eclipse, which is another super atmospheric black metal masterpiece emperor - into the infinity of thoughts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CHKDyNThYY Last edited by fsg on Dec 5, 2013, 3:08:06 PM

Since we're talking black metal.
Personal favourites http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v39JJnrFZhs Arizmenda. Don't bother if you're looking for melodic stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42W6a0AQOJ8 Prevalent Resistance, straightforward and supreme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWrX162sCak Glaciation. Not enough of this exists. |

"fuck, this was really fucking good sounds very much like ulver on nattens madrigal compare with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZP5x_g50jCE a little rawer, a little more intense, otherwise pretty similar Last edited by fsg on Dec 6, 2013, 5:52:47 AM

" Yeah I'm quite familiar with Ulver (even the newer stuff) and I really like it, of course. Prevalent Resistance does have a certain old school quality (without purely relying on terrible production). What gets me though is the ridiculous amount of kickass riffs they put out. You'd be hard pressed to find a weak song in their catalogue, at worst I find their songs to be pretty great Feel free to message me if you want to discuss metal, recommend some stuff and so on, I have a fairly unhealthy obsession. |
