let's recommend new music to each other.

i'm into crazy, technical noisey weirdo music. i'm also into fast hardcore punk, and recently i've been getting into stoner rock and doom metal. i'll recommend one band from each of those types of music, hopefully you'll like it, and hopefully you'll post what you've been listening to lately

Listen to any of it, the drummer owns this band. I think I have 2-3 Ruins CD's. I read a review of them a long time ago and it mentioned how chaotic and noisy they are and I got them really cheap used. Good stuff. Weird but good weird.
Arguing on the Internet: What's the point when you can't punch them in the face when they really piss you off?

DUDE! i fucking love don cab. that shit is MY JAM. that shit is nice. yoooo, that song "the peter criss jazz" off the album "american don" is SOO NASTY, especially that one moment when the drums come in, after like a two minute intro with no percussion. SO NASTY. you are the mad for listening to don cab.

The drums are what attracted me to Don Cab. I heard them in a used record store and instantly became a fan. I'm a wannabe drummer myself, parents wouldn't let buy a set when I was younger. This is another band I really like: NoMeansNo The only way I can describe them is the bass is really upfront like Primus but it's more punkish sound with a much darker subject matter. The drummer is incredible here too.

Dance of the Headless Bourgeoisie, The Worldhood of the World, and Wrong are my favorites
