yeah, the melee sorc of Median is fun to play; I miss the crowed control options more though.
Another good melee attack from that mod is

CRUCIFY melee attack that unleashes homing spikes
-> pretty straight forward in the beginning but could not be used effectively without appropriate support skills in the end game

Endurance Siphon (such an original name) - Attack, Projectile.
Sends out a ranged attack out of your staff, which has a 20% chance to grant an endurance charge on hit. If an enemy gets killed by Endurance Siphon, all his nearby allies lose 10% physical damage mitigation. (can be stacked up to 4 times) Quality bonus - 0,5 increased chance to gain an endurance charge per 1% quality.

~65% damage effectivness.

Arc of knives: Whirl around, releasing a spray of knives at all targets within 10 yards. Requires daggers.

I think that would be great aoe skill for melee/daggers anyways...

Summon Suicide Beetle - those beetles in-game that charge and explode on impact. Would be super fun.

Summon Aeon - summon an immortal creature with set skills you control instead of your character for a short duration, or until Aeon's HP is reduced below threshold, or until character dies. Another limitation might be that the Aeon is tethered within the character's field of view.

Steal/Mug - acquire an item from a foe's loot table straight into your pack without affecting the monster's actual drops.

Mind Control - similar to Summon Aeon but works for any foe/player.

Copy + Mimic - use copy to remember a recently used skill (by any foe/player) then use Mimic to execute that skill. Lasts until the caster or copied player leaves the zone, or a time duration, or charge based.

Final Attack - fires attached skill upon death. Not sure what this would be useful for yet, perhaps someone could expand the idea. A tank build might use this with Cold Snap or Spell Totem+Enduring Cry as a last resort for his allies to escape when their tank dies off, but that's not enough of a reason to use it IMO.

Experience Plus - gain more experience per kill with attached skill gem.

Gravity Well - sucks foes/yourself towards the well, things with less than 10% life explode on impact with each other.

Body Slam - tosses the foe into the air and slams it down doing aoe damage, might give more style to unarmed builds.
