Race Events and League Ladders - Jan 14: One-week HC Race - Forum

7 pages of "do this other type of event instead" -- this is really annoying, though not unexpected. I'm glad we have a one-week race, but can we stop talking about which rulesets we'd rather play? I'd say there are bigger issues with parties than solo, but that's just me. Solo has that whole trading thing that's flawed, though. We have never had a long term solo event though, and it looks like maybe I'm not the only one with a itch for one. What issues are there with solo though? I can understand turbo causes the desync factor to jump, but outside of rng being more extreme I'm not sure there is any issues at all with solo. Its the only kinda of races I stand a chance in, 4/5 demis from running solo, and only once did I manage that in a non solo race. (BTW Dime, thanks for the demi from the one time I did win one in a group, pretty sure you did all the work in that race :D) It being the last race, people are just expressing that they would like to have done more, thats a hallmark of a good thing, I think. I mean, I would love to have seen a highlander week, even just for the lols. PS if anyone needs a extra on US, feel free to let me know.
