Kind of really a dumb thing to happen to die to a small amount of lag because I dont have 50% more health at level 2, or a 2h to actually kill mobs, please look into making them spawn all the level 1-2 stuff all the time thanks.

After getting to covers after my death and not finding a single transmute or blue maul, I gave up.

I really don't mind some RNG, but not being able to even play my build because of 1 in 5 vendor RNG, which happens in a race, really is annoying and the suck.

I was 1st Marauder early on around 15 mins (means nothing but still) but decided to go to brutus early on hoping to find portals along the way, well didn't happen, so the fight was a an insanely long stupid desync encounter, eventually killed him, but it took so long, saw i wasn't even in top 30 anymore and still no drops throughout the whole race (no trans, chances, alts, portals, and only 5 wisdoms is rather insane) so decided to quit.

What about me i missed my timezone again, because it was said at 22.00 but started 1 hour eralier. Who can explain that to me :S.

Practised loads, but can't prevent this crap, makes racing so pointless when you have all these factors.

If you kill brutus you automatically get the waypoint to Prisoner's Gate, even if you logout, so either you didn't actually kill brutus or there's some truth missing from this post.

I did kill him and picked up some loot from him, but d/c'ed as I was doing so, I thought I would have the waypoint when I logged back in, cos like u said, u always get it if you kill him, but i didn't have it. So the only thing I can think of is that I got de-synced and d/c'ed at once (happened a few times before).

Its just so frustrating, I mean, I understand that this is Beta and these things happen and all that, but I spent a large amount of time practising solely for this event in the hopes that I could actually get a Demigod before OB hits, but its just proving to be so much about luck rather than actually ability, and i am not talking about gear rng, but simply the fact of staying contected to the servers ... and I know I am not the only one this is affecting cos of the endless posts on every race.

Well, you can't go open beta in that state, that's just ridiculous.

That was the most awful race I did since I started the game, your servers or whatever is the problem is just too shitty.

1. Terraces, load of crap already happening, monsters mobing, and hitting me while am kilometers away, still they don't move and just stays were I was 5seconds ago.

2.Mudflats, shit get tense as I got stunned by invisible Rhoas charge (or is that this one I dodge and is now half a screen away from me? Oh I guess it is)

3.Besides the lot of crap, manage to comeback and am at the ledge, drop a beasty 2h sword and a good vest. Get the wp, try to get to town, can't load town, try to WP again to bypass it, finally working. Get back to the ledge, kill mobs, levelup, go past kudoku, get kicked off the game. I come back with 75%XP lost, 2h lost, vest lost. Rollbacks are best shit ever

4.Prison, biggest shit fest ever, projectiles dodged? Oh wait no, still hits you for whatever reason, get 4 rubberband, again for no reason, if I was running phase run and/or movespeed boots why not, but I wasn't.

5.Get to brutus, desynch fest again, but I am sure you're aware of it.

6.OP goatmen hitting with invisible sparks, marked my death.

I didnt trust people with all the desynch stuff, and every race until now were fine (occasionnal lag, some unexplicable spikes sometimes, but a delog/relog would make the trick). Right there it was just.... so fucking awful, you have a great game, but for your own sake, you can't go open beta this way. If you can't already sustain the load from closed beta I can't even imagine the shitstorm OB will be.

Died to Merveil with no ports and only 1 medium hp pot. Snagged first Hillock though, so worth it.

Awesome, for once in my lifetime im lucky with drops and then i DC when entering caverns of anger @ 25mins left and upon logging in im missing 4/5th of a level and find myself at prisoners gate.

Extremely frustrating, i'd rather die to desync.

Died to some atrocious desync, dodged a rhoa that hit a rock, then I lost 200 life and died, without getting touched by anything.

Fix your desync or you'll lose a lot of players. Open Beta will be too late, you'll learn a lesson the hard way. The people that turn away AFTER OB will not come back when you finally get around to fixing it.

Nice race

Nugiyen would have been no.1 so easy without his bad luck, crashed zoning into coves and had to re-run from gate, so happy he finally got his Demigod tho :)
