Same question here. It was my first race, so I'm still curious about these kind of stuff.

Followed last 30mins on devmoon's stream, nice guy. Good race for him too. Too bad about that hailrake quest turn in miss.. almost class 1st too. But since that wasn't his goal, eh.

I think i need to prep a streaming solution for myself; i have the two first days of OB off, maybe someone would be interested.

Nope, I know Panda killed Vaal at least once and I think ssnodgrass did as well.

That was before the GS fix. Iirc there were 2 players that killed Vaal after that they were both FP shadows but they only reached level 23.

They start as mara get HS and GS log put pots and gems in stash start their duelist.
The speed nodes work better on Killspeed than resolute technique.

The Theorycraft is quiet old I remember some players trying that build after the GS build fix but they died in Vaal Ruins or vs Fidelitas.

Yeah last turbo I did the exact same thing with Marauder in terms of choosing to go 2H or dual wield depending on what hillock dropped, and i ended up trying a dual wield Marauder, which didn't go great but still got me 9th last turbo race :) Also I do not trade and I know not everyone does but I also know many players do too and gain a big advantage that way.

Yep thats my luck, I ran 3 shadows at the start trying to get ms boots off vendor, or a maul drop off hillock, no luck, templar didnt get any either, but my prize char gets ms boots to drop off hillock, and 2 mauls, omgwtfbbqhax. lol.

The Ground Slam nerf rolled out with 0.9.12m on September 27. The first ever turbo race didn't take place until October 3rd, and it wasn't even a full three hours. The first full-length turbo race wasn't until October 4th, over a week after the GS fix.

The post says jan 4, but it's january 3rd and the event is over. did I miss something in how these are posted?
