I wish everyone would learn to quit games in silence, or at least with a proper feedback post, not a hissy fit.

If it affected you, there's two things you could do: If you agree, play your resotred character. If you don't, delete your restored character.

If you were not affected, why the heck would you care?

this post is kinda ironic bearing in mind you telling them to deal with it when there characters die, why dont you deal with it when they get restored if they died in an extremely unreasonable way , maybe learning to deal with stuff yourself before telling other people to deal with stuff would be a reasonable thing to do

While I agree with the sentiment of "This is hardcore, deal with it" OP's post is not the way to support it.

Easy fix. Have the game not be bugged after every patch
