Ideas for cool beta key giveaways

I'd probably run some sort of fan writing contest with pretty specific rules. I'd also actually follow these unlike many of the contests we've seen around here.

Edit: That said, I'd sooner just find someone that seemed cool and give it to them than make people jump through hoops in hopes of a key.

Who needs to be creative. Just find a decent person on the forums who try's to help others and seems nice. Give them the key.

Post all but the last two letters/numbers of a key. Let people figure out the last two digits.
