Question regarding Armor/evasion and Iron reflexes.

That is wrong, Mark already stated on page 1 how this works. In your case:

evasion 100 * ( 1 + 10% evasion + 10% armour + 10% armour and evasion ) = 130 armour

armour ( 100 * ( 1 + 10% armour + 10% armour and evasion ) = 120
130 + 120 = 250

Not 253 as in your calculation. That means when you have iron reflexes, Steal and Leather nodes have the same effect as pure armour nodes.

Sorry for bumping an old post, but this has been "confirmed" multiple times in this thread but it doesn't make sense to me: Armour is being counted twice for Evasion and Armour calcs and then added together for IR. Wouldn't taking pure Armour bonuses be more beneficial than pure Evasion bonuses or should the correct calc be:

armour ( 100 * ( 1 + 10% armour + 10% armour and evasion ) = 120
120 + 120 = 240

Hi sorry to necro this thread but i got some questions :)

Does the Dex EV increase do anything when you have iron reflexes? Cause if i get more dex my Armour doesn't change.


Next i got a question about Grace and "Increased effect of auras you cast" and "Increased effect of buffs on you"
So i got a lvl 16 Grace which gives 1721 EV
With my build i got "28% increased effect of Auras you Cast" and "3% increased Effect of Buffs on You"
Without Grace i have 2965 armor
With Grace enabled i have 5760 armor
Which means it gives me 2795 armor which is rougly 61,6% more EV
but it only gets increased by 31% from my passives so where does the rest come from?
Here's my spec:


Also i cant get my numbers to add up :(

My equipment gives me:
1155 EV (dunno if i should add the 326 base EV?)
973 Armor
And somehow it adds up to 2965 Armor

Hope you can help me understand the maths behind this wonderful game :)
