Potential Desync Fix

Can confirm that cyclone skill still breaks the sync, regardless of your connection. Too many acks. Any possible solutions? This is consistent with 0.25 attack speed or faster. Slower attack speeds, without any mods, like 1/sec seems to be ok.

" Read Chris' Developer Manifesto. It's not a bogus excuse. The desync is mostly a problem with specific skills. The reason they don't re-sync on a timer is that it would cause a LOT more problems than it fixes. Character that currently don't "appear" desynced would be bouncing all over the screen. I don't get desync because I know what stuff makes it worse and I avoid them (like cyclone). Technically all characters experience minor desync... some is worse than others. If they were constantly re-syncing you, you'd be literally bouncing all over the screen and a lot more people would complain because the movement wouldn't feel fluid. |

What I find odd is that the devs NEVER come out and address the issues...
They rather hide behind the fierce (and somewhat silly) fanboys who defend the game tooth and nail. Are devs REALLY so busy that they can't do a post just to address player concerns?? Or are they making enough money, so they don't care?? |

Well no, actually, the guy above you explains it in a way that is consistent with what I've observed in-game. Some skills, due to their network-intensive nature, cause desync more than others. I would really like to learn more about what happens behind the scenes, and the sort of packet play that is in place.

I know trade chat lagged me worse than desync on Docks but will try this. I desync about every 5 seconds as well. Not sure though why streamers I watch rarely experience it lol and I've never experienced this phenomena in my gaming life.
