Accuracy and Evasion Tables

Anyone is good with Algebra ?

We know that :

Attacker's Chance to Hit = Attacker Accuracy / (Attacker's Accuracy + ((Defender' Evasion/4)^0.8))

So logically :

Defender's chance to Evade = 1 - (Attacker Accuracy / (Attacker's Accuracy + ((Defender Evasion/4)^0.8)))

Based on that last formula, what would be the formula for :

Defender Evasion : ?

Note : I want to add an evasion table so we can figure out how much evasion we need for different chance to evade %. But I need the right formula first.
For the moment, let (Defender Evasion/4)^0.8=k.

Chance to evade = 1 - (accuracy/(accuracy + k))
accuracy/(accuracy+k) = 1 - chance to evade
(accuracy+k)/accuracy = 1/(1 - chance to evade)
accuracy+k = accuracy/(1 - chance to evade)
k = accuracy/(1 - chance to evade) - accuracy
k = (accuracy * chance to evade)/(1 - chance to evade)

Now put k back in.

(evasion/4)^0.8 = (accuracy * chance to evade)/(1 - chance to evade)
evasion/4 = ((accuracy * chance to evade)/(1 - chance to evade))^1.25
evasion = 4*((accuracy * chance to evade)/(1 - chance to evade))^1.25

Great !

Thanks !

This is kind of hard to practically use, since we have no information on the evasion of enemies in this game. It does give a good general idea though, which is a good step forward.

Edit: Oops didn't see the first few tabs. MY BAD!

Notes/Edit (2013 April 23) : I made a slight error in the formula in the original Accuracy table (Thanks Minus4 for pointing it out). The formula is now corrected but I need to re-estimate the monster average evasion for every level (1-80). To do that, I basically need to level up a character up to level 80. So its gonna take a while until its done. The new character is level 46 now, so the table should be mostly accurate for level 1 to 46.

Oh, and I'm also using this opportunity to work on an evasion table.

Bump

Notes/Edit (2013 June 2nd) : My character finally reached lvl 79. Yeah, I know, it took a while. But the 2 tables (Accuracy and Evasion) are now available and show information for level 1 to 79. Enjoy !

There is a data file in the game files which has the default monster accuracy and evasion values (DefaultMonsterStats.dat).

It is a bit different from the values you discovered. I'm not sure if this means the table is maybe an old file which isn't used any more. Or maybe there are rounding differences somewhere.

Good work btw :) I tried to start something similar on the wiki but failed.
Brutus. Do you even sync?

I have a question though, how much attack speed is needed, can kinda negate that accurracy 1% increased require?

Self-impost EXILED.
With patch 11.0, monster damage has been reduced. That doesn't necessarily mean that monster's accuracy has been reduced but it seems to be the case.

I tested it with a level 79 character. For him, the evasion table (for a level 79 monster) doesn't predict the right "% chance to evade". However, if I use the accuracy of a level 77 monster, it does work.

Is it true for other character levels ? If I could get similar feedback from other players that have evasion characters between level 1 and 78, that would be great.

Here's the link for the accuracy and evasion table :
