So, how big of a flop were Animated Guardian and Animated Weapon?

What a complete joke. There's absolute no interest for them, no demand, no one even talks about them. It's like they don't exist.

They were two of the coolest looking things from the pre-release videos. I thought it was an awesome idea and couldn't wait to try them.

Fast forward a week later and no one gives a shit because they're terrible. It's like GGG pulled a fast one on us.

I didn't even get the names right. That's how big of a flop they are. Title should read "Animate Guardian and Animate Weapon", no 'd' at the end.

Honestly, if you know of any good, end-game viable combos or builds that use them I'd love to hear 'em. Really cool skills.

Yeah, what he said. I really liked both of them, but the skills now sit in my stash. I ditched them around level 40. Maybe once I'm running tons of aura's I might pick up animate weapon again, but it's unlikely I'll ever use animate guardian again.

I'm not sure about Animate Guardian, but Animate Weapon is totally underrated. You can check out how I use it here.

The way it currently works is a little clunky, but there are ways to work around its main problems. The base damage multiplier, attack speed, and movement speed (from gem quality) completely make up for them.

Would use life leech btw.

Would make it stronger (GGG). I mean it acctually takes slots from gear so it competes to all other skills.

Then remove weapon swap exploit.

And make it possible to use unidentified blue items from ground.

Don;t need a leech gem, equip with a leech weapon. Use minion effect potions. Weapon swap has already been fixed.

Just need to find a REALLY good set of gear to summon him with. I prefer sword and board.
