Divine orbs on legacy items?

Hi all,

i have a low rolled soul taker, wondering if i can use a divine on that and still roll in the 140-200% bracket? id hate for it to get pushed down into the 'new' bracket.

Do it.
GGG stated when the first "legacy" item showed up that hitting one with a divine will roll the new "fixed" stats. NOT the old stats.
EX: divining a legacy silverbranch means you will only ever get +1 to gems in it rather than the legacy +2

I found it out the hard way

I ruined my legacy facebreaker, so i stopped playing so mad :(
Why didn't you ask first Sheytan n.n

How about a divine orb on a legacy Astramentis?

Blessed would ruin it, that I know.
But can it be 'divined' to get a higher roll on the explicit stat?
Or does it automatically become non-legacy when no matter what orb used on it?
Thanks in advance.
It becomes non legacy.
Its pretty obvious...
When you use an orb, it goes and looks for stats to replace current stats. Except there are no more "legacy" stats in the database. So it just grabs the current ones.
...
Ok thanks!

...this is wrong.

Divine rerolls the non-implicit stats.
Blessed orb would ruin it.
