Seriously, a ban on the word "jew"

Look, I'm just asking for consistency. If you are going to implement censorship go all in with it. Malice gave a warning to someone with the character name "cluser_fucked_" to not say the word "jew." This is just stupid.

Either have full censorship w/ an option to take it off like D3 has or let it go free just keeping an eye on people who are really getting out of hand. I agree if someone is flaming someone for being jewish that's unacceptable but censoring one word regardless of context is just stupid.

Just delete "like D3" quickly and we might get it in PoE!!!

Yeah POE is just a great game on the way, so I guess if mods really need to talk to me like I'm some kind of disappointing child then I don't know how active I want to be in this.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with your name, in fact I think a few days ago I told you it's my favorite word "clusterfuck" I just don't get to use it enough.

The situation was just unbelievable. A mod telling someone with a commonly offensive word in his user name to not say the name of a religious group. It's like telling "cuntmuncher" not to say "muslim." It makes no sense.

I prefer this. I use the term "jew orb" myself, because "jeweller's orb" or "jewellers" takes longer to write. Using Jew as a derogatory term reflects on the user rather than the item. I honestly can't think of a better name for the item, but if you can come up with one and think it should be used instead...

I think c) is the best option, people in certain countries are oversensitive nowadays. In my opinion freedom of speech is more important than politically correct speech. Honestly, if I were a Jew and saw jokes about Jews, would I be upset? Probably not because I would know those jokes are just jokes and the truth lies elsewhere. The upset people are most likely people who despise racism because of their education and social consensus.

Now the problem is that those upset oversensitive people are also your potential customers. Considering how many people playing PoE are and will be from USA where they are used to such a politically correct behaviour, it might be better idea to go with b) ask people to not have fun with such a kind of jokes.
