Yes there are, not quite many in the acts we got to play so far but there definitely are, there is also a passive preventing monsters from leeching life from you.

My marauder with leech found a bear with it also. We attacked each other for quite a bit before I noticed that neither of our health was going down.
Had to kite him around and use ground slam from a distance to get rid of him. Fight censorship
