Saint Vitus: Physical crit ranger guide[Always Updated]

So after stating few posts up that I dont think I will replace my old trusty/rusty Broadstroke (got it as lvl12 right at the start of OB) anytime soon, I have found the beast of a quiver below in a random lvl66 map. I paid dearly for it since I have died there to those leaping goatmen who decided that desyncing and gangbanging me is desired.

The quiver gave me whopping 130 DPS increase (+/- 10%) on normal attack (over 200 DPS on unbuffed frenzy). My main hand damage dropped down by 50 but the rest of stats more than compensated for the loss. I'm also 1 step closer to 1-shot myself whenever I crit on damage reflect rare.

how to compute dps?

is this correct?

That is basic calculation for weapon dps (as long as attack speed is taken as APS - attacks per second).

It would be a lot more complex if you want to calculate DPS of other pieces of gear or overall dps modified by talents and gear mods. Fortunately, the game is doing this for you on your character sheet or shortcut buttons.

Always go for the faster bow especially because the game doesn't force u to make the tough choice in speed vs power. By that I mean they don't make the fast bows that much weaker if at all than the slow ones. The best bow lioneyes glare is high dmg and speed. it would be different if they had the slower bows always have much higher base dmg but they really don't. Go fast as u can.

If the damage stats are similar, always go for the faster bow. Unlike other games where "Attack Speed" is automatically calculated into the weapon DPS, in PoE the attack speed is a separate stat that is yet to be calculated into weapon dps :D

Its the best in any build or spec, thats why its 20 exalted minimum.

I just don't think I can save enough to ever afford one :P Rolling maps can get pretty expensive really fast ^^ I don't really need to upgrade any of my equipment now, so that kinda helps me to save xD
