How does "curse on hit" work?
1) Do you link it with a curse and it curses with any hits that you do with all skills?
2) Or do you have to link it with a skill AND a curse and you can auto-curse with hits made with that particular skill only? I really hope it's 1). |

" Making the addition of it useless. Why spent 3 gem slots to curse enemies when you can use 1 and cover the whole screen anyway? I'd be real disappointed if curse on hit isn't a global effect that reserves the mana cost of the curse. it is number 2, number 1 is not how support work on this game, think about it, do you link blood magic on your helm and it causes all your spells on other skills on different gear part suddenly cost life instead of mana?
just pray that you don´t have to pay the mana cost of the curse too in adition to a high mana multiplier. and yea not many would find this skill to be usefull or worth sacrificing 2 skill links but others will IGN: RFFP

If it's 2 its a bit worthless, might as well just get faster casting/increased area/curse. not like you could get a skill 3-4 linked that would do decent enough damage and curse a lot.
It might be good for leveling though when you can't get that many skills, but late game not worth it. IGN- FrOArrow

You guys fail to realize that many players have a significantly higher attack speed than cast speed, and the few moments that they stop attacking could completely ruin them.
e.g. 1)life steal 2)frenzy/endurance/power charge countdown 3)reave timer 4)Blood Rage (for both the timer, and the life lost) 5)Incinerate (is a spell, but still a valid point) Imagine also, linking more than one curse to it, with Doedre's Damning Last edited by PanzerSoul#7106 on Oct 8, 2013, 12:56:19 AM

If you have enough links to use life leech/lgoh, with a high attack speed AOE skill, while linking 2 curses on it... idk man, at what point do you just use stuff to make you kill better and have faster casting on your curses without losing massive amounts of damage on your attack. Casting 2 curses both with faster casting takes less than a second. How reliant on leech do you have to be that you can't step back for a single second?
I guess the only real use for this trigger gem is for reave. Is that really the only reason it exists? Such wasted potential.
