Yeah they didn't act like "handicapped people", but they acted like ESL. OP made fun of ESL, so a person from GGG also made fun of ESL to counter-troll? If it is a GGG business ethic, they might have ethical problems in the future.

Seeing your further questioning, I understand your concerns if what would have happened if GGG was wrong in this case (they weren't, but let's by hypothetical here. afterall, they're only human and humans make mistakes every now and then.)

Judging from GGG's track record, if they indeed were wrong (hypothetically) and ended up making fun of non-native english speakers, than they would bear the wrath of the community (english-speaking or not) and they would have to apologise unreservedly and make it up to the victim. They have done so before many times for other mistakes such as when they announced one wrong winner for the roccat races, and also when Chris apologised for the Razer mtx.

However, they were in the right here (and Rhys clearly did his research on this guy prior to Rhys posting) and as such, have no need to do any of the above.

marremurt, your concerns are real and definitely should be considered. rest assured, the developers and the community will watch out for this. :)

If Rhys hadn't replied back like that, he wouldn't offend anyone. Plus Mark justified it as well, that is quite bad ethic in business.
