0.11.6b Patch Notes

Was there something major changed regarding Direct3d in this 0.11.6 ?

because PoE no longer works under Wine ( Mac or Linux)

Julius (and others) is trying to figure it out, but it doesn't look so good...

i'm also playing using wine (linux) and can play without any new problems
What's the deal with Tempest Shield lately, anyways?

If you cast it in a non-town instance, go to town, and then go back, it stays on.
If you cast it in a non-town instance, and go to a different non-town instance, it stops.
Now, it seems that taking portals in a non-town instance (i.e. Piety's portal), it stops.

What is the actual intended behaviour for this skill?

I'm very sorry about the patch being 192mb. This was a mistake on our end (it updated the Shader Cache when it shouldn't have done).

Top notch transparency! Thanks Chris!
I currently downloaded 102.21% of the patch

as I am writing it is now 755.56 MB of 735.5 MB

102.97% now, continuing.

Is this supposed to be like that?
you are downloading the 1.0.0 ! please tell us more
IGN TylordRampage
AA bits in Nvidia Inspector are not working after this patch :0( and the game is blurry and keeps crashing !

Any solutions ?
192mb for a simple instance crash seems rather excessive. What else was included in this patch because I don't believe for a second that it was only a bug fix that somehow required almost 200mb of data to be downloaded.

A little more transparency would be nice.

Try reading the whole thread, this it's not even two full pages, and this is answered on the first. They accidentally included some changes to the shaders, which were not intended.
