Todays HOT topic

Global Warming/Climate Change caused or influenced by Mankind is a Myth, and the product of poor guess work and Political manipulation.

wow, I'm convinced. Great post.
Well, we could get into how the United Nations (UN) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) who has been telling everyone since 1988 that Mankind is killing the Polar Bears, causing the Sea level to rise, melting ice caps and poking holes in the OZ. Essentially has decided to stop its propaganda machine.

Partially because Independent Scientists have said enough is enough and for the past 10 years the Non-governmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) has been double checking and consistently disproving the IPCC's reports.

Including the IPCC's proposal that doubling of carbon dioxide over pre-industrial levels will cause warming of between 3 and 6 deg. Celsius, whereas independent scientists calculate that the warming for a doubling will be much less - somewhere between about 0.3 and 1.2 degees. Celsius.

And even that 1.2 degrees is deeply submerged within planet Earth's natural variations of temperature.

Also people don't care about how many thousand Peer Review research papers go against all the Climate Change propaganda that has been fed to us in many recent leaders Political rise.

Or the orbit of the Earth around the Sun and its impact on weather, considering how the variance of distance is 6.9% ... which is almsot 7,000,000 kilometers.

There is also the Sun's Cosmic Year, or its orbit.

What people want is "An Inconvenient Truth" and that good feeling you get when you buy a Prius, or when you buy a Bio Degradable cup for that Non fat, Soy Latte.

It's the same reason that people don't care about the 140 or so billion barrells of Oil that we know are waiting to be produced from confirmed Oil Reservoirs.
That's a lot, considering how much potential there is for even more Oil to be found.
The Global consumption rate of 90,000 Barrel's per year (which in the past 2 years has declined)

Without getting too far into the mathematics of it. That means at this rate, there is enough Oil to meet the demand for the next 100 or more years.

But CNN doesn't tell you that, they tell you that a conflict in the middle east has driven Oil Prices up $8 a barrel.

And despite Crude Oil dropping back down since the "Global Oil Crisis" was first announced... it is still sold at a ridiculous premium.

Why?

Because we are living in what you could call the "Dim Ages"
They aren't Dark, we haven't shunned Science or Information. But people aren't seeking it out either, they are content to be spoon fed stupidity by a Media controlled by a Government, controlled by a Bank.

And any time someone does look for this knowledge, they're a crazy tinfoil hat wearing lunatic with nothing better to do.

Anyway, I should go, the NSA is listening to the Keyboard Clicks through my phone and replicating this for their files.

Google HAARP.

Your mind will = blown.
Only one time was anything on par with HAARP for me:

Spoiler

Also I think that terrible movie "The Colony" is caused by HAARP.

DARPA was behind Howard the Duck. They were trying to see if they could weaponize entertainment. Kinda of succeeded. What a bomb!
It's formula based so you really can't argue with it....

Political Motivation + Self Serving Application of Insufficient Data = Global Warming Prediction.

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.
This whole debate trivializes the fact that humans are 100% impacting the environment in a negative way. There's no expiry date on human civilization, we'll be around for another 10 000 years but how we're treating the planet right now will be magnified greatly in the next few generations. A 100 more years of oil is nothing, that's 2 generations of people, what about the next 500?

Well if you don't like that Humans are having a negative impact on the Environment, then theres a solution for that. Population Control.

As we house more people, we need more land to support those people.
Each Human being requires (X)sqM of Land to sustain them.

That's 100 years at least. That we a know of.
There may well be another 500 years of Oil Left to Harvest.

100 Years is a mind blowing amount of time.

Technological Advancements are compounding. Where we used to see a major change every 100 years, now technology has giant leaps every 2 years.

Just look at the world 20 years ago. Take everything that has changed in those 20 years. Then multiplying it by about 100. That's how radically different the world will be in the next 20 years.

To suggest that in the next 100 years we will still be relying on Fossil Fuels to get around, implies a Dystopian Future where mankind has once again shunned Science and Enlightenment for some odd reason.

In the next 10 or so years we are going to see 3D Printers used to create Artificial Organs, skin grafts, bone repairs. And even that is probably conservative considering the push for nanotechnology.

So once again, if we are still dependant on fossil fuels in 2114.. something has gone terribly terribly wrong... and the source of our fuel should be the least of our concerns at that point (Zombie Apocalypse)
