Because armour doesnt give decent mitigation at all. He uses armour/ES shield just because he hasnt got any better

I use my shield because strength adds to dps and the resists on it are ridiculous. It gives me a resist free helm and ring so I can have some options.
Just reading some old post from when I was gone. Very entertaining seeing Dan and Mortal fight lmao.
Also to answer your question Mortal I didn't take deadly precision because it cost me one extra passive point I didn't have to spare. I can take it now that I am a higher level.

Hi, i have a few questions about this build.
First of all, i'm seeing all of the people posting here with godly gear, so would it be possible to perform well and MAYBE get to atziri on a 28-30 exalts budget? I keep reading "under 100ex", but that's a little vague.
Also, since i would only have a 5L armor, what gem would you rather remove? I'm thinking PCoC, since others seem pretty essential, but i'm not sure.

what gem you drop, depents on what dagger you are using... btw you need those 100 ex for doing maps, you need way more to facetank atziri xD, i mean if you are an insane player, you can do atzri with basically no gear at all, but well, you have to have perfect movement skills and timing

Well, you still can try it, but it wont be so amazing really. I'd spent most of that budget on proper weapon (Bino, for example) and made a try to skip Vaal Pact, gaining ZO instead (to benefit from Bino's unique bonus).

Correct me if i'm wrong, and that wont work well.

I would drop pcoc with a 5 link. with 50 exalts budget I would take a Bino knife(18-24ex on standard), assuming your leveling all gems yourself. You can get a good 5 link for 5 exalts. I gave away a 5soc 650es chest (no resists)the other day. Good belt 1 exalt. I am giving away a helm with 200+ ES so those cant be too much. I sold an almost 500ex shield with shit stats for i think 5ex so I know you can get ES on a shield cheap if you dont need resists on it.buy 2 diamond rings and dream fragments. Rainbows go for 1ex new maligaros less than that.

The guys that have been here longer need to understand that yes if you want to look like the atziri video you need god gear to 1 shot everything but you can do high level maps on a budget. I know because I have done it. Atziri on the other hand is more difficult. I would say your biggest problem is just the thickness of the mobs between bosses. The shock freeze stacks are brutal. That I never did with budget gear but the boss fights themselves are more mechanics than anything. You can run in like I did in the video with no regard because A)I had already done the fight many times,B) I know my gear will carry me and C) I had no exp to lose. Definitely not something I did the first time I walked in there. Lastly if you want to see how this build performs I highly suggest playing Descent champions race. grab 2 Summer swords and level to 10. you will see reave get pretty fast and the progressions gives you flicker,reave, and a few other gems that make it pretty fun with no commitment. I might have to make a video even though I am not the best racer.

That's 44 exalts leaving you 6 for gems.

Hope this helps pm me with specifics if you need it. I should offer some kind of gear shopping experience but it might take to long and who knows if people would even want it.
P.S This post is longer than I intended but fuck guys one certainty in life is Giving up is ALWAYS too early! Do your own research and see what you can and can't do you don't just take everything as gospel. grab a fast attack dagger and go on a lower level just to see if you like how the build works.
