" Do you really have a melee with 5k health/10k armor that dies in 2-3 hits? My Mara only has 4k health and it felt like that took a lot of work to get. He does pretty well in the end game but then again I haven't done maps above 72 with him yet so can't tell if he will do just as good or not. Standard Forever

Great gameplay The reason why GGG nerfed life was to create a better build diversity. It failed because now people just create CI+shav builds. Another reason was, ggg wanted people to stack dps + armor instead of just life. It also failed because 10K armor is still paper shit. Forum pvp

" I played the game for 8 months ... this is the biggest sack of lies ever, d3 is chock full of rmt and you know it. Also, you dont find any legendaries in the game that are of any use. Or rares. At all. EVERY arpg is a friggin slot machine, the games are based on rng ffs! oh and fyi, lootruns = copy of poe map system. lmao That their uniques are absolute trash ... this is one of their main BIG concerns that they are trying to address in the expansion, there even was a dev blog about it admitting itemisation is fucking horrible, and they are going to fail, because they are just bandaiding instead of redesigning from the ground up. The fact all your damage STILL scales off the weapon and the fact you can only have 6 skills at a time with no points, no tree of any sort, means itemisation and customisation is still dead. Dead as dead I tell ya! Theres no paragon cap sure, but thats only because its account wide now. There is an actual cap to how many paragon points you can allocate. And ironically, it cant promote build diversity if everyone can reach 500 str 50ms 10crit 25ias from paragon as they are capped but having points to stat them all isnt. That is so broken its not even funny. Everyone will be the same, just as before. Every monk had 483 dex at level 60/100 and around 3k dex from gear. EVERY MONK. Unlike poe, where you can stat a lot of crit / dmg but then you gimp out on defenses for example, a very crude, simplistic and basic breakdown of a tree as example but it gets the point accross. POE has variety in its builds, EB or mana or BM, CI or lowlife or ES / CI, or pure vita, can go evasion or armor. And keystones that alter your build drastically. Thats just **per one build** variety lol. Then you can stat your skill tree as you please, you cant do this with d3, it will pigeonhole you into 3 defensive and 2 offensive and 1 utility skills and 1 defensive / 2 damage passives 99% of the time. Those uniques they showed .... theyre just a (stupidly massive lol) bump up in dps to match the new monsters ridiculous hp in mp10 modes, and the worst part is you will still need high dps socketed cd life leech items because everything scales off the weapon and there are no skill points / out of item modifiers that can let you bypass this. The new 'game changing uniques' are a crock of shite, you can summon a hydra on kill? LOL why would i need it on kill, probably has some low proc rate, and just like all other leggy procs, is unruned variant which has its own dmg and doesnt scale off your dmg. Again, theres a hot topic on this on the ROS discussion subforum with all fans saying the same thing: bandaid fixes that wont change builds or bring any diversity. Having said that, the new class, monsters, weapons, skills, locations and cinematics look cool :P But then again that is today's Blizzard - it feels more like a high budget special effects movie than an actual game (including the fact the story being total crap too, just like most movies - a special effects showcase and nothing else) Last edited by mvm199#0755 on Aug 29, 2013, 7:41:22 AM

" Think about it, i will give you some hints: -no build diversity aka path of kaom s heart aka every people play the same shit -not being able to choose dps instead of defense -not being able to experiment something different and making it viable in maps -not being able to play self found without the need to get the +50 ex OP uniq that make u not die GGG nerfed life nods and made the mobs damages lower so you could actualy take armor instead of life, but this is not working because armor is not that great in high level maps.
