PoE Vs Diablo 3 new expansion

diablo 3 is a fine game for the masses. go forth and play it instead of whining about your lack of creativity or perhaps just simply a lack of a decent weapon and some leech.
A) You know how a race works, right? You get rewards based on your level, and also how high of a level you are compared to the other players. You don't need to be a no-lifer to do well.

B) I use life and armor but if there's something special you mean by "life and armor based", do explain.

C) What do you not have enough life for specifically?

D) Except that's completely not the definition of pay2win and there's other terms you should be using. "Spending ingame currency is better than grinding" is a viable argument, but the way you're wording it, you are implying that GGG lets you gain advantages with real money, which isn't true.

E) I used that as an example that it isn't a problem of the game itself freezing up, it's a problem of the game using more resources than most computers can handle, and like you said, GGG is working on it.
Must admit I'm kinda at the same place as OP. I used to play solo(don't really play anymore) but somewhere between horrible tuning, extreme resource demands and desyncs the game is borderline unplayable solo.
I do think the game for the better part is alright tuned for multiplayer though, you can do some horrible builds and still survive just fine in parties. The problem with that is that I do not enjoy playing in parties. At all.

Crafting is more frustrating than anything, feels like a complete waste to engage in. I guess it's a different story for people who do the double totem magic find stuff in parties, but as a soloplayer. Crafting is a no-go. So is using stuff you find for the better part as well.

I haven't played diablo3, mostly because I do not agree with their design. I didn't even consider the whole action house deal when I decided to not buy it. But quite honestly, maybe it's a case of grass is always greener and so on. But that system seems superior. not because I agree with it, but because you do the same in PoE, it's just more difficult, time consuming and and barely feel worth it to the point that there is no way I would do it if I didn't feel forced to do so.

Then there is the whole talent tree deal. While I think it's superior to the diablo3 model of with no customization at all, it's at the same time inferior to the model of game like diablo2, torchlight and titan quest, simply because I feel pigeon holed into most of the talents. Better part of the tree seems pretty worthless and just there because something had to be there.

As a final thing I also don't agree with whole "if this ability didn't suck you would think this other one was good". I believe it's possible to make 2 alternatives and not have one of them make you feel like a retard for choosing it.
I play solo and I don't have any problems.

Perhaps you need to take a step back and review your play.
May I have your PoE stuff?
Gl with spell casting barbarian.
Well, I guess a lot of the problem I have with it all stems from feeling punished for not doing group play.
I get a sensation of not wanting to solo because it feels not worth it with the decrease of difficulty and increased rewards that group play offers. and I don't wanna group play because I loathe grouping.

Maybe I should have specified that I play hardcore, because it pretty much exacerbates my issues with these things every time I lose a char.
Either way, if you think all of it just it is as it's supposed to be, then good for you. But I don't seem to be alone with this, and just as me stating everything I think is "wrong" doesn't mean it necessarily is "wrong", you stating "I have no problem" doesn't mean that I suck nor that there isn't anything wrong.
Either way most if not all I stated is subjective and may not apply to everyone to everyone's views.
Wow I don't know what to say to a post like that.

Diablo 3 sounds like a perfect game for yha. Plz do not come back to POE
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Tis your experience I suppose. Cant call you wrong.

But not every marauder is the same. Yet every barbarian is.

This.

You do see and hear about a lot of the same builds in PoE but thats the fault of the players. People who just want to be ultra powerful and don't really want to just dive into making their own build the way that they want it.

Let me know when D3 can have a sword like The Goddess Scorned which is low lvl and low physical damage but if you use its special bonuses correctly can get you end game damage.
Standard Forever
Have fun playing D3X, OP. I enjoyed D3 immensely until I beat Nightmare, I think. Got bored of it afterwards. I haven't even played every character to lvl 60, because I really loathe the skill system (if you can call it that). Moreover, the ability to completely rearrange your skills takes away the fun it might've been trying different builds and making the best of it (well, doesn't really work with the current skill system anyway).
Items are rather boring, too. Just stack damage and you'll do fine. Do that in PoE and you'll get your ass handed to you on a platter.

But each to their own, I guess. My regards to Tyrael.
