Diablo 3 already started killing PoE

You're missing his point. It's "I'm a Troll."

Once you understand that, all of his Anti-PoE rants still make no sense, but that's not what trolls care about.

I'm well aware he's a troll, but every time he plays D3 and once again realizes how bad it is I want his mind to go directly to "he was right, he was right...."

Even though he will never admit it, he will know, and I will know.

I love both D3 and POE because they offer different types of gameplay in a genre that I love. However, I am not blind/stupid enough to not notice a serious loss in population ever since the D3 expansion was announced.

D3 is definitely starting to kill off the POE population but I don't think it is permanent. I think a lot more players both new and returning will be flooding the servers once POE announces the official release.

Until POE adds more content for players and fixes a couple of issues, it will continue to lose players to the D3 expansion hype. You can either acknowledge the truth of the situation or continue turning a blind eye.
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

There are more than enough people that quit D3 that aren't playing Path of Exile.

So even if those people go back to D3 now that the expansion is announced that doesn't take away from Path of Exiles playerbase.

I still haven't seen proof that a rise in D3 players is a sign that PoE is dying.

Comparing GGG to Blizzard or D3 to PoE is pointless.

It's like comparing The USA to Zimbabwe in terms of military spendiing/capabilities.

If they were on equal footing, we could do that, until then it's apples and oranges...both fruit, but both very different.

I've got a personal beef with Blizzard since they killed Cain...and yet I still wish "both" companies success.

I'm not sitting here wishing for one to fail, or one to beat the other.
Daily reminder that exorzist's madness level because of the open beta supporter packs is through the roof.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
right now
diablo 3 has over 9000 viewers on twitch and poe only 215
so diablo 3 is top #5 right now just behind giants like LoL, Dota2, SC2 and WoW ...

good bye poe
