[PSA] How To Tell If PoE Is Dying
Well, there's enough people to drag my download speed down to 0-100 kbs, so I guess it's doing somewhat well.

Start of open beta is the peak, since then has been halved. I'd say that's dying.
Also, the website visits hardly matter at all. A lot of people who don't play visit the website to check to see if a new update came out that might bring them back, and a lot of people who do play never visit the website. Last edited by Nycro#4007 on Aug 20, 2013, 8:02:55 PM

" Till today, I think I have been on the site maybe a total of 20 times. Which site analytics is what those are referencing. I have played i think about a month of /played time. It doesn't seem like it is dying to me. Honestly I would still play if I was the only one, I like the game. You know it takes to farm? It takes BRASS BALLS to farm items and currency. Go and do likewise gents. Currency is out there. You pick it up, it's yours. You don't, I got no sympathy for you. " The difference is, this one is actually good, and tells people how to see for themselves that PoE is NOT dying. -VG- Invited to Beta 2012-03-18 / Supporter since 2012-04-08

" TRIPLE wrong. The only thing that matter is... oh wait. That wasn't wrong at all. Carry on then. The Russell Wilson Era

" There is always a release spike, man. That's just kinda what happens. The spike normalizing doesn't equate to the death of the product, it just means the initial hype period has ended and now one can gauge the actual level of continued interest. " Well yeah, but the idea is to get an accurate estimate. Little variables like you just mentioned aren't going to change the overall effectiveness of the measurements. Were PoE dying, people would come to the site looking for patches less and less often. -VG- Invited to Beta 2012-03-18 / Supporter since 2012-04-08
