Justification for bandit's vote mechanic?

Usually the justification for things that cause butthurt is that this is wraeclast; a brutal unforgiving land that has no fucks to give about you being sad :)

You trusted people and you paid the price, thats not bad design, thats bad logic on your part
The game also allows you to trade items (youll surely go broke trusting everyone you trade with) is that bad design?

It's bad design when the situation is not balanced. How can I fight back a bandit's mob, the bandit and 2 players exploiting overpowered skills at level 22?

May I repeat? I wont complain if I get to fight a balanced fight and I lose.

Your comparison to trading is the typical apple to oranges argument.

Well, I won't try to justify the mechanic(and certainly not the people using it to pk), but the smart thing to do in this situation would be simply to log out immediately once you notice that someone voted the other way from you unless you think you can handle the fight.

And if GGG ever does decide to fix this, I think the best solution would be simply to add a short(5 seconds or so) delay after the last person votes before any hostile action can be taken against the bandits or other players. The screen showing how everyone voted should continue to show during this time, allowing everyone to see the results and leave if they want. If players still do want to fight against each other(or they're just not paying attention) then the fight can still happen. I'm not sure if a change like this is really needed though or if things are fine as they are now, but if they are going to fix it, this would be the best and easiest way.

That would make waaay too much sense and not satisfy the sleazy no life PKers little ePeen egos who don't have the intellect to do anything else to have fun so it will never be implemented.

Allowing people to fuck up is not bad design, im not sure why thats so hard to comprehend :S

You have a warning, head it.
If after youve read that warning you think "Hmm that duelist with the shifty eyes still seems trustworthy but that witch is a total [Removed]" then you have the option of leaving and fighting with a more trustworthy group or doing it yourself.

And there is no mention of "just in case that guy over there would like to fight you, we want to make sure youre also interested in fighting him" its simply a "regardless of what you choose here, people will hit you with stuff"
"just for try, for see and for know"
it was probably oak, hardly any duelists will kill oak in normal... there you got 2 of them :)
It was Alira. You guys can reason as bad as you can guess.

If you actually read my post you can tell I am not upset. From the tone of your posts though, and from your admission of pking unsuspecting players, can anything good be interpreted from you? If anything, you come across as a twat, and if people like you is what this game caters to, then there devs have some serious issues.

Note that there was no skill involved in you losers 'having fun'. If you kill me with skill, I will call it a fair game. I would the first one to call it GG. This is nothing more than trolling in game, allowed by questionable design.

GG

Where have I ever admitted I pk'd? I've never even done the bandit quests outside of my own characters. Cry more baddie.

Remember, the purpose of a game is to allow the user to have fun.

If you are actually going to invest in a character at early levels, solo or vote last. If they won't vote, make a new group. You have the choice to not vote. I don't feel bad for people who get pk'd. Hell, i tried to PK once and they killed me lol
