Justification for bandit's vote mechanic?

I never heard the developers justify it.
And yes, I know: old topic, ect. Here is my story: Spent the weak getting gear for a new build, including: 14Q ice spear 17Q skeleton Various quality suppor. Leveling uniques and good low level stuff. And for what? To lose it at the trolls in the bandit quest. Now, before you call me a noob and what not, I checked the party while voting. 5 man party where everyone was 22, so I though there were no trolls. 2 duelists voted last, but I though it was normal. Well, they voted help and ficked-striked everyone else. Even though we were 3 vs 2, the mobs from the bandit + the early level OP duelists left my witch with no change to fight back. Are you suggesting there is no way to do these bandits in public parties unless one votes last? This sounds like terrible design by GGG. Remember, the purpose of a game is to allow the user to have fun. If I lose fair and square I don't complain, but in this case it seems broken. |

Easiest thing to do is open a portal near the edge and away from everyone else. Stand right next to it and as soon as you see that someone has helped then just step in the portal.

Always open a portal and stand on top of it until the your sure everyone voted correctly.

What I never heard is the reasoning behind this design decision. There have been countless threads and all of them are related to trolling and never any real game play benefit.

Leveling on onslaught I 100% solo it now so save the time wasted of leveling again from a pker is not worth it. Left many parties where someone didn't want to vote before me so just solo it. Saves the hassle of hours lost and in your case currency spent on gems gear.

If you actually read my post you can tell I am not upset. From the tone of your posts though, and from your admission of pking unsuspecting players, can anything good be interpreted from you? If anything, you come across as a twat, and if people like you is what this game caters to, then there devs have some serious issues.
