I'm both disgusted and elated at this community. Whoever gave him those Rainbowstrides, good on you buddy. At OP, what you did was basically beg on the street for what you wanted, much like many homeless on the street. What makes you better than them? The fact that you got the item you wanted? I'm sure you've probably walked past many homeless without giving them even a single thought. Please, no more forum soliciting.

I think you are focusing on the wrong aspect of this entire topic.
-You belittled a solid community because people wouldn't give you what you wanted for free. Not to mention their value to most players. I've been playing quite a while and have maybe seen 2 exalts drop in parties. To say the value of the items is only pocket change and expect it for free is just ridiculous.
For an "arpgfan", you lack of interest in farming is disturbing and to get pissed at a community for people not wanting to essentially give you hours of their time for free is even worse.

Little small things here and there as a passing nice thought are nice to do to random people from time to time especially if they ask kindly, the problem why people are getting so up in arms over this is that the person is asking for something that most players can't realistically afford to just give up to a random person, let alone even have and then calling them stinkers. THAT is where the problem is, it's like asking a random person for their whole life savings in game for most people then insulting them when they won't or get laughed at.
