Hello there Korgoth, I didn't played for something like 10 months but I have been thinking about starting again. I got that I buyed for 10 exalted, which was pretty low price back then. As for today, I'm looking at prices of Facebreakers and it surprised me that prices are so low now. Did something happened to Facebreaker build or the gloves itself that caused that extreme price drop or it is just economics that changed? I always loved build that resolved around smacking mobs with bare fists but I would love to know if game changes made it more difficult to play it right or something, hence those prices. I just read about your account hacked. Damn, I'm sorry. | |

Well it's just how the market is. Fb builds are just as good as they've always been, but they are not the meta, they are old news thus no streamers really play them thus they are not really popular. Also lots of new stuff have been introduced and most people prefer to play new things etc. etc.

Hey man, I just saw the post about you getting hacked, that really sucks, and I am glad you decided to keep playing this game, I probably said this earlier in the thread, but this guide is the best on the forums, and you have some spot on analysis. That said, what do you think about the new "Ngamahu Tiki" unique amulet for IB? It seems like the potential 70% fire damage increase could make up for the lack of flat phys, and it has a few nice defenses too. As for the amulet ...well, I am ... 99% sure that it won't make up for the lack of say 15-25 flat physical. Decided to come back to a FB build this league.
Shield Charge is now very, very nice. I'm only level 57 right now, but it's very usable and deserves coverage as a viable skill (my skype buddy started using it at first and told me I had to try it out instead of my Ice Crash or Cyclone build I was running). I haven't tested it at high levels yet, so I don't know how it holds up, but I know a couple streamers are running it and it looks very usable in maps. This leaves Elemental Hit, I believe, as the lone 'Don't waste your time' unarmed skill. My Builds: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1739942 - Flee the Fire! Yes i definitely want to test it out at some point in the near future ( and of course write a section about it if it is a viable skill ). As for elemental hit ... in my opinion it is really a relic from the past ... not a real attack but an artifact from times long past.

Yeah. I really want Elemental Hit to work...somewhere. But I'm pretty sure it'll never work for a Facebreaker build.

" Shield Charge is godly right now for FB. Switched from frenzy and the clear speed is amazing! Will keep frenzy on a 4-link for single target though, cause shield charge is lacking in that department. Someone on reddit described it perfectly: Whirling blades + mini Earthquake... I´m sorry about ur account. I´m happy as well to see that u stay doing such a good support here. I have a question, can u talk about shield charge , like what gems would u use and so? Or even write a bit on ur guide, cause it looks quite funny, and maybe its fresh air for me than cyclone. Thanks and have fun ^^ |
