Plans to fix Desync issues in Melee?

So I know this issue has been around for a while. As of right now its nearly impossible to play my melee shadow due to constantly dying at the hands of the desync problem. All I want to know is, are there plans to fix this? Ever? It's been around for as long as I can remember. I'm not a fan of ranged characters so i'm wondering if I should quit this game now, or is this problem ever going to be looked at?

Let me guess.

You're a build that uses a lightning warp totem. You also spam whirling blades constantly. You use only quicksilver flasks, and always keep one activated. In order to quickly advance through areas, especially indoor ones, instead of slow-clearing a room and moving through, you pop a quicksilver and run/leap slam past multiple mobs. Then you make sure you are streaming 17 different Justin Bieber videos in the background, (you know, to get the most out of your 500 kbps connection), close your eyes, click wildly, and pray?

I think you might be doing something wrong ;)

More like "I think the game is doing something wrong"...

Amateur code is amateur code... No matter how the apologetic crowd want to spin it.

That's an awful lot of craptastic guesses, aside from WB i've never used any of the other things you've mention. No, just WB. But even if that were the case, why can't someone be able to use the skills that are in the game without having to risk losing exp constantly due to an error with the game? Either fix the issue or remove any quick movement skills.
I have this exact same issue & exact same frustrations.

I too would like to know what GGG is planning to do to resolve these issues.

They're doing noting and have been doing nothing for the 3+ years this game has been desyncing like crazy...

They're amateur coders and they refused to spend money on a competent coder...

And the game's horrid desync is your result...

Instead of starting a flame war, I'm going to respond to this post with my own personal brand of logic, if you don't find that I'm being logical or reasonable, I respect that.

Who wrote the game engine ?
Grinding Gear Games developers.

Who created the skills in the game ?
Grinding Gear Games developers.

Who is intimately knowledgeable about the movement limitations of the PoE game engine and its capability to sync with its servers ?
Grinding Gear Games developers.

Now the logic part: Why would GGG create skills in a game that go beyond the technical capabilities of the code that they wrote ? If the game can reliably handle a movespeed of 'x', why are there abilities in the game that can take players to multiples of 'x' ?

I mean, in your post you take in game skills designed by GGG and attempt to mock a player with them, because, he's bad for playing the game with skills included in the game ? Does that really make sense to you ?

I just try to ignore people like Powertrip personally. Waste of time to argue with stupid comments. Although, I suppose ignorance is bliss in this sense.
Plan? Get better PC + connection
