PoE Helper (unofficial chrome extension to help with crafting/inventory)

I am probably incredibly stupid, but I don't understand what this thing is telling me. Under crafting it says Chaos Orb and lists 4 of my rares, but what does that mean? Do I "sell" those things for a chaos orb to a vendor?

In short: What is this I don't even... ?
There are recipes in this game. You sell specific things and they'll turn into other things. It's telling you that you're close to completing or have completed the requirements to complete the recipe for a chaos orb.

If it says 100% in the left column that means you meet the recipe requirements.

Slowly started noticing something was wrong when i was saving up armor for Armourer's Scrap recipe. It's not recognizing the helmets i have in my stash. Huge BUG!
the item data is out of date which is why many items won't show up.

the terms of use http://www.pathofexile.com/legal/terms-of-use-and-privacy-policy seem pretty clear about this extension being against their terms of use.

If someone wants to update the item data and send me a pull request on github i can merge it in and put out an update.

I probably wouldn't recommend using this extension anymore tho since it's clearly against the terms of use.

re: 500 errors from the server, those sound like issues with the PoE webserver. If they sort it out you should be able to get data with a full refresh.

@cryptc: there should be an average damage per second col in the calculate cols someplace which is what you were asking for i think?

I would almost consider the fact that this 88 page thread is still allowed on the official forum that you've got written approval.

However, don't risk your account based on my word. They may be working on an official webkit as many MMO's have, and might be letting this slide since it's existed for so long.
So I emailed support asking if this plugin is against the terms and got the following message back.
"It's okay to use this plugin. We'll let everyone know if we change our
stance regarding this."
The plugin is good then if njs or someone wants to go back to updating it they would have my eternal gratitude.

More bad news:

"Google today announced it will block local Chrome extensions starting in January, but only on the Windows platform. This means that next year, Windows users will only be able to install extensions for the company's browser from the Chrome Web Store.

can you add a filter to show complete recipes only and items not on characters too?
Damn, so that means that no 3rd party extensions will be allowed?

just means only extensions from the chrome webstore will work on windows. i looked at putting it in there once and it looked like a pretty big pain.
