Any argument that contains the statement "British English vs American English" instantly invalidates it IMO.
The Queen's does not need to state place of origin twice.
English is English.
American English is a lazy barstardisation.
Yanks overuse the letter 'z', and underuse the letter 'u'.
With forums set to "American English", you'll see things like "overuse" appear as correct, while "underuse" has a red coloured line under it. This makes no sense.

They say people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, but I guess it's no longer an issue when every last pane of glass was shattered so very long ago.

You selected a "gateway", not a server. There is only one server and it's global.
If by your logic, then every non-english speaking european should see their native language, when they click on the european gateway.
But that doesn't happen, because translating the game costs time and money, for which they're not gonna be doing any time soon(including adding both english version in). Like it says so in the FAQ.
This is also probably another reason why some people are dissing you.
