She sucks for summoners so you are gonna lose some of your peeps to her. She does cold and lightning dmg and lightning arrow is the one that blows your minions up. Purity Aura and Minion Resist Gem should help there along with Minion Life of course. Evangelist spectres should help out as well.

Exiles (and bosses) like her are the reason I keep MI even though it back fires on me a lot (getting a slight damage spike on a BM and it exploding so I have to go back to Lunaris and get another etc...). I just stay out of LoS and skelly/zombie bomb her to death. it can be slow and tedious but imo its your best shot at lower char and gear levels or when you dont have access to your uber standard characters. took me 4 town portals last time I met her on domination to get new zombies and refill flasks.


Well the problem isnt the loss of minions...., i mean i died oneshot with cap ress and i think enough life for this region. Because of my minions infront of me, the lightning arrow increases extremly in dmg. When i think about it, i dont even know what to do against that if i level that character again. I think she will oneshot me again... .
I can explain why u died. Where you close to your minions? Each LA will bounce on your minions and hit your character. You got hit multiple times (much more than a non-summoner)


Shes the exile that I have my friends kill for me, super deadly for summoners. All the other exiles are a joke.

Would recommend evangelist if u want to tackle her.

Well ty for the fast answer. I explain fast how i died:

It was like the run number 4x in catacombs Act 3 merc, i opened up a room, put some skeletts in the middle of the room my minions went in and the exile ( i didnt even saw her, because she was to far away to see him coming) attacked the minions from the other side of the room and i got oneshooted. So, in my opinion there is no way to escape the incoming dead, becaue of instant dead. That gives me a bad feeling about that build, because i have to expect this exile at anytime and i have to expect to die instant at all time. Did u met her on a solo game?? How was it for u? Did u die instantly too?

I actually beat her multiple times.

It helps that I have 5 instant life flasks and 4.5k hp

mana shield should be able to save you if you have a large mana buffer. Always scout ahead, if u see lightning arrow projectiles either gtfo or prepare, grab your topax flasks.

Don't expect your minions to survive the fight. It takes me 4-5 rounds of zombies and a skele totem to take her down.

Yeah the Animate Guardian "Buff" makes me scratch my head. Skill needs a complete rework, I mean whos gonna carry around pieces of gear to toss down to heal it, along with the fact that the change completely goes against a customizable minion. Not to mention its still probably weaker and dumber than a single skeleton.

Heres hoping to a rework in the future.
Try frost wall with skeleton totem and/or targeted aoe spectres (most ranged attackers that don't use projectiles, such as evangelists). Your spectres and totem will cast over it while it protects from projectiles/melee. I'm not sure if BMs will hit through it or not. You can use it to protect your entire army and keep them corralled in indoor maps, but for outdoor maps you may want to add in increased duration so that you can maintain a larger wall. If you get in the habit of throwing down a skeleton totem ahead of your army you should be able to see chain attacks and such before they're close enough to hit you and your zombies.

It doesn't work on everything as some attacks will just go over it, but it's an easy way to wear down tougher enemies.

I love those exiles on maps, its like a free map boss. yay for the vitality buff as well, should allow a higher level of clarity.

For curses i agree valunerability is amazing. its a huge buff to zombie melee damage and also a huge buff to BM fire dot and other neat stuff. using that and flammability as per below.

With tabula I would recommend trying the following:
Raise zombie
added fire damage
proliferation
added melee damage (increases bonus from added fire)
increased burning damage (could replace with minion dmg or meleesplash)
increased AoE (could replace with ignite, but flammability + 8-9 zombies is pretty good asis)

You could replace added melee with melee splash, but that would halve the strength of the burn. Its proving to be really useful since it stacks with BM fire, and all your curses are already aimed at supporting fire DoT. It also means your getting a lot more than "40% more" out of the basic melee attacks due to mobs negative fire resists from flammability and elemental equalibrium.

It doesnt work well until you have a higher level quality added fire damage gem, so level that up first.
I was going to play around with the infernal blow mechanic of grasp

RZ + chance ignite + Elepro + fire pen + increased aoe + ????

proliferate that 20% of corpse max life

Would Culling Strike be good at all? I notce that my zombies miss out on "last hits" quite a bit due to BMs. If culling triggers grasp, and if grasp's effect in turn can trigger culling, would it be worth a slot, especially if your just using a 4L?
