I think the regen is so you can more safely use the umbilicus belt.
So I ended up doing a bastardized version of this build, with baron, shaper's touch, and tukohama's. Surprisingly tanky.

With that said, I was just theorycrafting something with flame mother's and magma orbs, and the prospect of putting Dying Sun on spectres is very appealing to me :O

Or flicker striking spectres with taste of hate, atziri's flask, Lion's Roar...

Has anyone actually tried this regen build? I'd be interested in chatting about possibilities. My current build, with baron and shaper's touch, and using Spirit Offering, I basically give all my minions a giant shield for every 1 desecrate while giving myself 2500 shield heal as well. Meanwhile, my zombies heal me. While the spectres and zombies and AG all do damage and synergize together. This would be taking that a step further and I'd be thoroughly interested in exploring it.

Seeing how those are only 2 pt investment for pretty big returns in spectre survivability i'd say keep them. If you want a bit more hp unspec them up to you. I have them there to increase survivability when spectre are not leeching.

I can't really quantify "better". Its an alternative build with its own set of pros and cons. Pros being a bit more ehp pool, slightly faster speeds since you don't have armour movement speed penalty. Cons being no regen/less regen is a really common map mod.

Dodge has its own positives when dealing with mass projectiles like exploding porcupine packs. Cons being not as much ehp pool but only a few hundred hp difference.

All content is viable with either spec.

and 1 more: can somebody looking my gear pls ? the solar guard dont making dmg ....

So, I'm about to hit act 5 and running spectres with a Tabula. What would be the best links to use with Kitava's Herald when leveling?

mostly melee gems they leap slam and do attacks so multistrike melee phys minion damage etc
Which weapon would you recommend to use when starting out maps?
Thinking about going Scourge.

Also, how does the EE work? Do I just shield charge and spam Ball Lightning on all mobs / bosses?

Bright beak or scourge works perfectly fine. Bright beak for the fastest clear possible. Scourge if your interested in going slower but more damage.

So you (The player) tags them with lightning damage which makes enemies hit by your ball lightning have -50% resistance to both fire and cold for 4s per trigger. When your minions follows up with an attack they won't trigger EE themselves and get a free damage boost.

Since it's linked with curse on hit, launching a spell does 3 things at the same time. Direct where your minions go, tag them with EE, and curses them.

What about going CI instead of life? Currently i'm on Lv.80 and have 4200 Life. Maybe 5000 to 5500 after Lv90. With CI 7500 to 8000 should be no problem or?
