Yeah that is fine. Dex/Str and mana regen are all good stats. Thou eventually life/str accessories with some mana regen and other defensive stats like res/chaos would be ideal

Most likely not. SRS needs 3 things. Attack spd, minion damage, duration nodes. And they all still look accessible. Thou this is coming from that tiny little pic so yeah I have no idea till it comes out xD?

Two ways.

Getting a lot of es/life gear. Since es = mana. Then do not use Discipline, have 4 auras so you have plenty of mana left over.

Getting alpha howls b/c the es on your gear is not high enough and adding discipline. I think the reason I did the alpha howls + discipline was b/c I did not have high enough mana regen for AA + SRS at the same time.

* Another thing you can do is pick up that mana geyser node. Its 2 pts away and gives some nice mana related stats.

Well definitely need more points to get out of the witch starter section. Not liking the placement of the flask node either. Al thought all these new notable nodes could actually be an overall stat boost to the build. Who knows.

Damn its 6 pts more to get out and get what I want. =/

To get to EB and grab flask nodes (Now) -> 15 pts.

To get to EB and grab flask nodes (the passive tree they gave us so far) -> 20-21pts...

Even skipping flask nodes its going to be 16-17pts. (This is dependent on wheter i grab that notable or not)

Quality does nothing for aura reservation.

lvl 20 reduced mana does help a lot. Maybe your missing a couple aura reservation nodes as well? If 5 auras doesn't work out for you go with this plan.

On the passive tree. I think it is pretty obvious now that they are pushing for scion for any kind of cross-tree builds, since it was their original intention, they only caved in because of the outrage on forums and made the transition paths.

Anyway it is not the final tree, so who knows what it will really be like. For now I'm not keen on the tree, it feels like while providing specialization for the witch it punishes anyone going through and out this part of tree. That static blows placement makes me want to cry, what is the point of static blows near so many crit nodes anyway?

Haven't been playing summoner for awhile, but the new support Generosity has defiantly peeked my interested.

Do you think Anger/Wrath/Hatred will be the new thing for summoners if the old aura passives exist alongside generosity?

Current tree we can get 78% Increased Aura effectiveness (70% if you want to ignore the Marauder node).

Wrath at 78% boost will deal 267 average per hit.
Anger at 78% boost will deal 222.5 average per hit.

Minion damage of all forms should further boost these numbers (Including the minion damage gem, perhaps making it one of the better choices?). Faster attacks also directly boosts this damage, as well as the ever popular ele weakness.

Depending on how much minion damage exists in the new tree and how much generosity boosts, these could become pretty significant numbers.

As a side note as well, perhaps Faster Cast will go better with summon raging spirit, because it seems like it might be possible that generosity Haste/Vaal Haste may be better depending on how big of a boost this new support will give.

Made it to the point where I can run 4 auras, new gloves are kinda helping.
