5 minutes loading time, you can try to fix it

Loading times are disgusting.

I'm sorry, but if MTX are causing this issue, give us the option to hide them or minimize them.
Load times are still borked, and now getting dumped to login screen regularly.

Terrible.
You weren't kidding. This is a painfully slow loading process.

Players complaining about long loading times yet no one posted their specs for GGG to investigate. Classic.

And before someone asks, no, your 5th gen Intel CPU paired with an GTX 1050 from 2016 on top of equally dated hardware is not sufficient for a modern game like PoE going forward. A SSD won't salvage this.
Funny, the steam store page recommends a GTX 1050.

Been dumped to login about 20 times today. To desktop 5-6 times. But I am sure it is MY hardware /roll eyes. Cannot possible be something they changed, since my setup is the same as the last few leagues and I did not have this problem then.

Edit for grammar

That's defeating the purpose of MTX. People buy pricey MTX and skins to show off and for other people to see. If people can simply hide them the MTX sales will tank and GGG would have to layoff devs to compensate for loss of revenue (assuming they come to the worst state of income loss).

Problem is, I cannot even get to endgame, I keep getting dropped to login over and over and over. Pretty much gonna go back to Solasta. and not play this game, not gonna have to be in town, not gonna see the MTX. Defeats the purpose pf defeating the purpose.

That was merely the baseline specification recommended back when the game first appeared on Steam. Of course, as with most projects still evolving after several years of development, those figures are a relic of their time. It should go without saying that ongoing updates and improvements naturally raise the bar. After all, hardware considered “minimum” back then wasn’t exactly cutting-edge, even at the time, and it certainly hasn’t aged gracefully since.

It is the recommendation, it should absolutely should go WITH saying. If your recommendation is a 1050 then you should absolutely optimize your game to go along with your recommendation. Look, I get that you obviously want to white knight for GGG, but you are in the wrong. They need to optimize their game to run on what they recommend, not assume that people are going to wade thru some murky smoke and mirror, hand waving "this is what we really mean" kinda crap.

They changed something, and if the game is going to be more hardware intensive, then the recommendation AND the minimum specs should show it. Regardless of the specs required, they changed something and borked load times. They also did something that is dropping clients to login screen on load.

Edit for grammar cuz I am a fat fingerer.

This isn’t white knighting, it’s simply acknowledging reality. No serious developer who continues to refine their project over the years deliberately anchors it to decade old hardware that was considered bare minimum even at launch.

Even NVIDIA has long since retired support for that GPU, which should be a fairly clear indicator of its obsolescence.

If you’re building a gaming PC on a tight budget, the sensible approach is to aim for at least parity with modern console specifications. Or, if you’re still rocking something below that, maybe just maybe it’s time for an upgrade.
PC components have become remarkably affordable over the years, so maintaining at least console-level performance should be the bare minimum if you actually want to enjoy modern games.

Sure, even if the developers updated the Steam page tomorrow to reflect newer "recommended specs", that’s not going to magically improve your performance. The only thing it might do is make you realize what’s been obvious for a while, it’s time to upgrade.

I understand the argument that a game should perform well on its "recommended specs" but that premise only holds if those specifications are even remotely current. Expecting a living, evolving title to run flawlessly on obsolete hardware isn’t a question of optimization, it’s a refusal to accept that time and technology move forward, not backward.

No developer is going to hold your hand or rework their engine just to accommodate hardware that the rest of the industry abandoned years ago.
