Spotty login to game and website loading (confirmed AT&T fiber issue, SOLVED)

Those using AT&T Fiber, what region are you all in? I'm in southeast.
Southeast as well.
I'm having the same problem and I also have AT&T fiber. Knew it had to be some kind of CDN issue, since I'm seeing no packet loss or high latency in anything other than POE. Had assumed it might be related to the AWS issues yesterday, but I don't know if POE uses AWS.

I worked for AT&T as a network engineer until a year ago, so I used to be able to get insight into things like this..... And used to get my fiber Internet for free for that matter.
It would be nice to get an official response from GGG, just stating that they know about the issue, even if they can't do anything on their end to resolve it.

I'm prepared to try a VPN next week if things don't clear up by then, just to see if it gets around the issue. As far as I can tell this is mainly happening in evening/prime time hours. Is anyone in the position to try a VPN now (or whenever the issue is happening) and post your results?

Last night seemed to be a little better. Some delay while waiting for the launcher to connect, and some delay when logging in, but I was getting in much more consistently. Three days ago I wasn't able to connect 9/10 tries.

A quick Google search implies PoE does use AWS for their servers. Also I found this:

https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status?eventID=arn:aws:health:us-east-1::event/MULTIPLE_SERVICES/AWS_MULTIPLE_SERVICES_OPERATIONAL_ISSUE/AWS_MULTIPLE_SERVICES_OPERATIONAL_ISSUE_BA540_514A652BE1A

I first noticed the issue last Friday night, and Baranax who replied first said it started 18 hours before that. But I couldn't find any notice of an AWS disruption before October 19 based on the health link above.

Edit: Another resource as to what's going on maybe: https://www.reddit.com/r/ATT/comments/1o957rv/half_the_internet_doesnt_work_this_morning/ Could just be bad AT&T DNS servers for the past 5 days?

Does anyone want to try the solution posted in the above thread to see if it works? I'm at work now and can't. It involves changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google's public DNS). Can change it in Chrome settings to maybe get sites to load properly, or in your network adapter itself to be able to connect to PoE.

Solved: Changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google's public DNS) and everything worked instantly. The site, launcher, login. Everything. Fingers crossed that it stays this way.
Yeah this fixed it for me as well.
