Hi,

I need some advice from u more experienced guys out there in the fields of Path of Exile and hte Onslaught League.
I once played a Templar with Freezing Pulse in the past and I enjoyed that gameplay a lot. So i started a character in the Onslaught League after playing other builds and getting familiar with the changes of the patches again.
After starting a char with your build and enjoying that FreezingPulse-Feeling again - I´m not quite sure about the progress in the early stages of the build. In particular I´m asking u kind experienced Exiles for some advice in relation on the question what I should focus on: Armor, Armor/ES, ES, ES/Life? Right now i have the feeling I´m going to get killed if I´m not sure about that - I don´t feel well prepared ;)
Maybe you have also some experience you want to share with me about what weapons/shields you used.

I was thinking..... and instead of that helmet and having that regen rate how about using this...



And linking with concentrated and reduced mana or something. You can somewhat make up for the loss of the shield with a pretty GG helm. Or would that not work??

EDIT: Since youre freezing everyone anyway wont the 20% damage when frozen boost help a bit?

I am using this guide as a general template, but i am extremely new to this game. As far as low-cost items go, will this still pull me through early and mid game? I've taken a 5+ year hiatus from games and just started back with this, but with a full time night job, fiance, and only a crappy/laggy laptop to play on i have to take things slow and only play for like 5 hours out of the week, so to have fun I need a decent early/mid game build.

Since I am already following this build, any tips to make for a better experience during lvls 25-40?

i didn't have that staff, but i really wanted it. my build is a template with a very solid passive web. you can put your own flavor on it.

why do you need to mf - there is more than enough stuff on that char to fund anything lol

i can kill monsters all day and they might drop a white item or a blue item, but it's usually literally nothing. you need "mf" in this game if you don't want to have trading as your only option of upgrading your gear.
