Thanks for sharing this Chris. Would be great if a beta player could track the progress on these changes as they are seen in game specific to the categories Chris has outlined here. I'd volunteer but I'd need to be in the Beta!

Both are perfectly acceptable. It's just US vs. UK* spelling.
*Includes Australia, NZ and other places.

In the recent patch was gem drop rate reduced? My friend was telling me that he started receiving way less gems on a new character than he was before (sure, it could just be luck)

Disappointed in the loot FFA thing.

Here's how I see it playing out for me: It's not worth playing with strangers because FFA loot demands whorish behavior from players that actually makes them act against what the in game character should be doing. This is essentially a major break in immersion every time a loot promising monster comes up.

So then it comes down to only playing with friends. If I have any friends who might want to play with me. IF.

This game is looking nifty, but if it's a bad experience playing with loot whores everywhere ala diablo 2 public games, it will probably turn into a single player game for me - and those don't have much staying power.

Idea - make a game creation option where people can choose FFA, Own, or Rolls for loot options and see how many people play each. Bet you don't see many witches or rangers playing in FFA games.

awesome work ! I just joined the community but this one seems to be a uber compared to the others.

It's probably worth noting that the system they are talking about does give each player their own loot for a small period of time. During that time, no one else in your party can see or grab the drops that were designated for you. The period of time will vary based on how far away you are from the loot, and your ping.
