I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

A lot of big name development studios have cashed in their reputations for profit over the last few years. Bioware and Blizzard are the two most obvious.

The shameful thing is that most of the people who worked so long and hard to generate those reputations don't even work at the company any more.

At the risk of sounding dramatic, I'll never buy another Blizzard product again, and I've played them all since the original Warcraft RTS.

If I'd known Diablo 3's lead designer hated Diablo 2 before I bought it I would never have got it in the first place. I appreciate that we live in a culture of deception and exploitation but the gaming industry is really starting to stink badly because of it.

I too migrated from d3 and absolutely hate the GAH/RMAH. I refuse to spend in auction house and never get good item to clear inferno.
Can't wait to try PoE!

I just wish i could back in time and donate those 60 euros to GGG instead of buying that horrible, horrible game.

PoE rules

I've stopped playing D3 since patch 1.04.
Introducing new legendaries for what!? So that ppl can find them and sell them for $250 so Blizzard can make money again right? It is a very lame and greedy system.

So after hitting lvl 50 with a few class, the BIGGEST difference with POE I think is that you're actually growing your character (passive skill) and crafting new gear FOR your character and so you become MUCH more attached to the character. The skill system is just awesome as well, since you can practically create your own skill with support gems. Thank you guys at GGG for this amazing game that I have been craving for ever since I left Diablo2. I will be supporting your game forever.

looking forward to playing PoE. Hope this is more like D2, lord knows D3 isn't.

D3 sucks. PoE is fantastic but I need to get a new computer to run it (I know, mildly embarrassing. My laptop is 4 years old). Seems so much more polished and well thought out. Glad I could contribute to the team even though I can't run it yet

D3 is overrated.

I'm still currently playing D3 (But not exactly enjoying it). I'm waiting for PoE to finish installing right now. :)
